Sports Law
A good number of our team members fervently participate in various sports disciplines and we are passionate about sports law and have extensive experience in representing sports teams, clubs, individual athletes and sports agents and bodies in a variety of legal matters, including but not limited to complex legal proceedings in local and international tribunals and regular legal proceedings on an ongoing basis. We also give legal advice on Fair Play Practices. The World Anti-Doping Code and Match Fixing. We represent various sports entities and individuals in various areas including but not limited to the following:
- Investing in sports club
- Negotiating employment agreements between athletes and clubs
- Management and preparing agreements between agents and athletes or clubs
- Drawing up advertising, marketing and sponsorship agreements between athletes and commercial entities
- Disciplinary hearing before local and regional tribunals
